Most recordings end up needing more than a transcript. A podcast needs show notes, a YouTube video needs captions and maybe a version in Spanish, a research interview needs quotes with exact times. BlaBlaScribe covers these steps in one place, in the browser.
How it works: drop in an audio or video file (MP3, MP4, WAV, MOV and others, up to 4 GB) or a link from YouTube, Vimeo, SoundCloud, Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive. The language is detected automatically from 120+ supported languages, and the result comes back split by speaker, with a timestamp on every line. On clear audio, accuracy reaches 99.8%.
Editing happens next to the player. Click a word to jump to that moment, fix the text, shift caption timing, pick a caption style and render the subtitles into the video. Translation into 50+ languages keeps each line on its original time, so translated subtitles need no re-syncing.
For video localization there is AI voice-over in 27 languages. Every speaker gets a distinct voice, or their own cloned voice, and each line is fitted to the length of the original. The original speech is removed while music and sound effects stay. A 15-second preview costs nothing.
Output options: SRT, WebVTT and styled ASS subtitles; Word, PDF and plain text; CSV and Excel tables; JSON for developers; MP4 with subtitles or dub; M4A, MP3 or WAV audio, including separate voice and background tracks.
Privacy: uploads are encrypted, speech recognition runs on servers the company operates in the EU, and customer files are never used for model training.
Pricing: 30 minutes free on sign-up, no card required (long files show the first 10 minutes). Subscriptions from $14 per month or $11 per month on annual billing; prepaid minute and dubbing packs are also available.
