Stacktape automates DevOps on AWS. It reads your repository, designs the infrastructure like a senior DevOps team would, and deploys it to your own AWS account. After that, it keeps your app running and keeps you in the loop for any decision that needs a human.
- Designs the stack: proposes an AWS setup with sensible defaults and shows why each resource is there, how it connects to your code and what it is likely to cost.
- Packages and deploys: builds Lambda packages and container images with built-in buildpacks or your own Dockerfile. A push to main deploys, pull requests get isolated environments, and releases can shift traffic gradually or roll back.
- Monitors: logs, metrics, traces, errors, uptime checks and browser tests in one Console.
- Secures: IAM permissions and network access wired for you, secret references, team guardrails, and dependency, container and secret scans.
- Handles incidents: opens an incident with the signals, affected services and recent release, investigates with logs, traces and code, and prepares a fix pull request for you to review.
- Tracks costs: per project, environment and resource, with budgets and alerts.
The CLI is open source (MIT) and your configuration lives in your repository. AWS bills you directly. Stacktape is billed as a percentage of the AWS costs your stacks generate, never per seat or per deployment, with a free plan for up to $100/month of AWS spend. Support comes from the engineers who build Stacktape.
