    ShareWatcher Reviews

    ShareWatcher

    CodeLine

    $129 one-off (Pro)
ShareWatcher is a Windows tool for anyone who needs to know what is happening on a file share: who is accessing it, and which files were added, changed or deleted, and when. Alerts arrive by email, as a sound, as a Windows event-log entry or by running a command you choose. Folders can be watched live, so a change is reported the instant it happens, or polled on a schedule, which also covers FTP servers and picks up files that arrived while the program was not running. Cadence Watcher raises the opposite alarm: a folder that should be receiving files has stopped. Actions handle new files as they land, including a QuickMove action that moves each one to the right folder by rule. The Server licence adds Auditing, recording who created, changed or deleted a file, and runs as a Windows service; Enterprise adds remote monitoring of other computers. Pro US$129, Server US$349, Enterprise US$749, paid once. Free 7-day trial. Windows 7 SP1 to 11 and Windows Server 2012 R2 and above.

    QuickMove Reviews
QuickMove moves files where they belong with one right-click. Choose QuickMove on a file and it goes where that kind of file went before; for a new kind of file the Rule Wizard opens and builds the rule with you, matching on name, extension or a pattern with regular expressions, and from then on the move needs no prompt. Files that match no rule get a menu of your favourite folders. Every move is in a history with multi-step undo. Rules can be overridden or edited from the context menu, can send files into sub-folders named from the file, and can rename a file already in the target folder rather than overwrite it. The Automation plugin, an optional US$24.99 add-on, watches folders such as Downloads and applies your rules without you. Commands sit on the first page of the Windows 11 context menu. Licence US$29.99, paid once, with free minor updates; free edition and a 7-day trial. Windows 7 SP1 to 11 and Windows Server 2012 R2 and above. Email support within 24 hours.

    YUPS Reviews

    YUPS

    Second Coming Technologies Alaska

    $500
YAPS was designed for Admins but allows ANYONE with the need to keep records of machines and access the progress of all aspects of a printers life. Most programs are designed to see the printers ink, copies printed, etc. but have almost NO functionality for the Administrator of these projects. YAPS does, to make his/her life happier. The current stock of software for printer monitoring are put in 'the Cloud' only, which is another marketing gimmick; Everything unfortunately is moving from the web where we 'used to' be able to access our work from any machine, is now being limited to our fons/apps ONLY. This is absurd as when one looses their fon or app, they will loose access to their work as well. YAPS addresses this by having itself on your desktop, access via the net, or your local network , (or both). After all being able to access your data on YOUR systems and not some far away company in 'the clouds' is much more safe and assuring. With YAPS tried and true way of accessing your work from any safe computer/web access, you are always good-to-go! This old school type of thinking is what is and will be put-into-YAPS. For SNMP connectivity, our future plan is for YUPS, with direct access and controls, will simplify these tasks, when this module is complete.. with reasonable prices as compared to what the current slim printer management market offers.

    Optivation Reviews

    Optivation

    Optivation

    $19/month
Optivation brings the five jobs agencies run every week into one workspace: forms, databases, pages, time tracking and invoicing. You run the whole client lifecycle in one system, working from the same data at every step, not across five separate tools. When a client fills in your intake form, their answers land straight in your database as a record. Each record opens into a full page, where the notes, files and sub-tasks for that client sit alongside a built-in timer. The hours you log there go onto an invoice generated from that same record, so the work and the billing stay in one place from first contact to payment. The same records show up however you need them: a table for scanning, a board for tracking progress, a calendar for deadlines. Clients can book time with you through a booking page in the same workspace, and pages can be shared with a client when they need to see where things are at. AI Advisor opens against any record and draws out a summary and the action items, so a long brief turns into a list you can work from. Optivation is made for independent consultants and small agency studios who bill hourly or on retainer. You can start on the free plan and move up when you need to. Solo is $19 a month. Studio is $49 a month and covers up to 3 seats, with each extra seat at $19 a month. Paid plans include a 30-day free trial, so you can set up a real client and run it end to end before you decide.
